“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God.
Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth.
That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are
simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.
God is sheer being itself—Spirit.
Those who worship him must do it out of their very being,
their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”
John 4:23-34 from The Message
Each Sunday morning at Christ Community Covenant Church, we gather to honor God by worshiping him through music, biblical and artistic expressions, and to receive teaching from His word, the Bible.
To sum it up, "We worship to remind each other who we are and to whom we belong.
We worship to remind ourselves it is not all about us - it is about God. It is about God's kingdom of justice, peace, and righteousness.
Because in [God's] presence, all that is temporary melts away. We need God. We need our sisters and our brothers.
In worship we see a little more of the glory God has for us. We see a little more of ourselves in Christ. We see God."

Worship by Serving
On Sunday mornings, there are many ways we honor and glorify God together: a message is prepared, music is selected, visual arts are created, and the worship and tech teams rehearse. The coffee is made, greeters and ushers welcome, volunteers answer our questions, prayer teams are gathered and everyone together sings and prays to God our Father.
Consider how you might like to be a part of worship services at 4Cs. Visit our 'Serving' pagefor more for information on opportunities to serve. We encourage involvement from those high-schooled aged and older.
