MISSION
The purpose of 4Cs Youth is to help students develop a personal faith in Jesus Christ that lasts into adult maturity-and for life.
This happens in a loving, safe, caring community of family, leaders, and peers where students hear and experience the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. We help students grow deep roots in understanding the Bible. We encourage personal habits of devotion and outreach. We connect students with nurturing adults in the larger church. Students practice God’s heart for the world and ministry skills as they serve in ministries of the church and outreach locally and afar.

4C's YOUTH September 2014 through May 2015:
Youth Breakouts & Confirmation – 10:30 Sunday Mornings
Youth (7th -12th grades) join adults for the main worship service on the first Sunday of every month, and for other seasonal all-church Sundays. On the 2nd-5th Sunday of each month, youth will begin in the Worship Center at 10:30, but then will be dismissed after about 20 minutes of singing and church connection to Youth Breakout.
High School Breakout includes a fun get-to-know-you moment, youth-relevant Bible teaching, and often some discussion or prayer time.
Middle School Breakout (7th/8th grades) will connect and learn from Rock Solid: Footholds for your Faith Journey. Confirmation program participants are required to attend most of these breakout sessions from Sept-May and do additional Bible reading, journaling, and a couple of other projects at home.
Confirmation is a great opportunity for students to really understand the essentials of Christian life and faith from Rock Solid: Footholds for your Faith Journey. New this year, it’s open to all 7th and 8th graders and meets during the 10:30 service/middle school breakout. Students enrolled in Confirmation will be required to attend most of these breakout sessions from Sept-May and do additional Bible reading, journaling, and 2 projects but will also have some super fun privileges and rewards. For more information on Confirmation, there will be an parent info meeting between worship services on Sunday, August 24th in the Fellowship Center.
High School Small Groups:
High Schoolers will grow in faith and friendship as they are connecting in a small group. Our small groups are meant for open, honest discussion and caring for each other in life’s joys and challenge. Scripture, grace, and truth are life anchors as we talk about our real challenges and touch questions. High School small groups are organized by grade and gender (some grades may combine) and meet 2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-2. Inquire with Scott Parr if you are interested in joining a small group.
Fusion – 7th/& 8th Graders, most Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm
Fusion connects kids with each other and God in a fun and real way. This is a great program for our friends who are new to church. A typical night goes like this: 60 minutes of relationship-building fun & games, 10 minutes of singing, 20 minutes of teaching, and 30 minutes of small group time. We have great fun and humor to make memories and friendships with peers and leaders. Kids who are brand new to learning about Jesus and those who grew up going to church will be challenged to think personally about God’s love, direction, and purpose for their lives.
High Point – 9th-12th Graders, 6:30-8:30pm most Wednesdays
High Point connects kids with each other and God in a fun and real way. This is a great program for our friends who are new to church. A typical night includes relationship-building fun & games, singing, high-school-relevant teaching, and time to connect with peers and a leader. We have great fun and humor to make memories and friendships with peers and leaders. Kids who are brand new to learning about Jesus and those who grew up going to church will be challenged to think personally about God’s love, direction, and purpose for their lives.

4C's YOUTH TRIPS:
We find ourselves traveling a lot for Mission Trips, Camps, and pure recreational fun! We've traveled to local camps, to faraway places like Africa and Alaska and to national conferences in order to gain a deeper understanding of who God is and what He is doing in the world. Our hope is that we also gain a better understanding of how we can participate through a deeper relationship with Him. We seek to accomplish this through worship, fellowship, service and relevant teaching. We also have a great time getting involved with local service projects, ski trips, boating trips, hiking, backpacking, ice skating, bowling, and practically any fun idea we can come up with!
All 4C's Youth event participants are required to submit a health form prior to attending the event. Download a copy here.
